With the Christmas season rolling in we have been crazy busy already!
Saturday the boys had a Gingerbread Decorating Party (poor Trey was sick and missed out on all the fun).
We took low-fat cream cheese and red pepper jelly shaped like a Christmas Tree. Thank you Pinterest!
After the party we had family pictures with Santa on the beach. I can not wait to see the pictures. Here was the set up
Then we were off for ice skating at the Wharf. The boys had a blast. Chase finally got the hang of it!
Sunday we made homemade chocolate chip cookies with Christmas Chocolate Chips!
Monday while the kids were in school I finally cleaned the house and tackled the Christmas decorations. They have been sitting on the floor for a week. Here is how everything turned out:
We are officially ready for our annual Christmas Party Saturday! Well besides the food. That will be Fridays project.
I finally hit the trails after volunteering at the boys school this morning. My pace was way off for my normal 7.5 miler but I am not being to hard on myself (this time). All three boys had the flu last week so I am sure it’s coming my way.
Run – 7.5 miles at a average pace of 8:49
Strength Training – Shoulders, Back, Biceps & Triceps
Meanwhile in adventures of the Jennings clan…
Last weekend I walked into the bathroom and to my horror the toilet looked like it had exploded. There were reddish brown splatter marks everywhere in the toilet that continue to track up the back of toilet, the wall and yes the ceiling. Wait a minute I thought to myself. I turned to Chris (aka Hubby/Big Kid) and asked - Did you shoot a paintball in the toilet. Chris - How did you know? Me – Really Chris, really? Chris – What, I wanted to see what it would do, aren’t you curious. Me – No Chris the thought never crossed my mind!
ohhhh my gosh! hahaha. you really are super mom! i hope you made your "big kid" clean the mess up on his own! LOL! your decorations are fantastic!! i especially love the matched stockings!! keep the adventures rolling!! :) spa <3
